Default Can't alter anything - 05-10-2008, 16:04 | posts: 2

Hi,

I'm using v2.09 with 175.12 drivers on Vista x64 and I can't seem to get anything to happen.

For example, I enable the fan control and alter the fan speeds.. but my fans don't change. Same for overclocking.. I alter the clocks and click 'apply', then when I check back after clicking 'ok' they're back to their default again. GPU-Z confirms that there's no change.

I'm using a 7950GTX on my XPS M1710, and I've flashed the gpu bios to support clock speed changing and such.

It's entirely possible that I've made a noob error, but I followed the guide pretty carefully..

Any hints as to what I can try next?

It seems that changing back to the 169.04 driver allows me to alter stuff. I guess it's the 175.12 driver not allowing overclock with my gpu.

Yea, RT relies on the drivers to do their job and that's not always the case. Glad ya got it working.
