Default HTIB speaker for PC? - 02-14-2008, 14:17 | posts: 239 | Location: Jakarta

Hi people, im building myself a new system and i'm planning to pair it with a HTIB because i've heard that none of the PC speakers are that good.. but i'm not experienced with it soo.. im just asking doo you guys use a HTIB setup for your PC? and what kind of soundcard do you guys use? any advise on building the audio setup?

btw, i just wanted to use the surround speaker, not the DVD player.

thanks ppl

This is a good way to go aslong as you have a good HtiB. I suggest you get one of the newer soundcards with both analog and full digital output to give you the best all around connections options for wiring up a receiver.

Those cards only support 2.0 in digital unless your in passthrough mode and watching a DVD.
I suggest you bit the bullet and buy a Prelude.
