Default Wireless USB adapter problems - 12-05-2007, 03:23 | posts: 1

Hi, for the last couple months I have been having a problem with my internet connection, specifically on my computer. Every once in awhile, at a completely random time my Belkin Wireless USB adapter will just stop working, but it has not turned off because it has a blue light that is flashing. Every time it stops working my computer will lose internet and I will have to unplug the adapter, and then plug it back in and it will work fine.

The problem is not my router, because I had the same problem with a previous adapter and changing to my current one did not fix the problem, and it's also only effecting my computer, the other computers on my network have no problems.

I have tried everything I could think of, and I tried finding people with the same problem but I could not, so please help.

My OS is Windows Vista, my Adapter is a Belkin N Wireless USB Adapter, and my router is Linksys.

Thanks.

I have a linksys that does this when i come out of standby...it just never syncs back up.

If its doing it randomly while you are working on stuff, then it could be faulty or you could try changing the channel on the router, it could be getting interference.
