Hi everyone,

Just curious if you(s) think this rig should be performing better or not.

My rig is as in my profile my 3dmark06 'default' score is 7932, i have not oc anything, everything is set as out of the box.

Is this ok??

cpu bottleneck.I used to run a amd x2 4600 with a 8800gtx the score was 8500.Agtx with a e6800 scores 10700 so you see the difference.

No he can't, his system is a s939 based platform. The 6000+ is a socket AM2 chip and will not fit in his board.

best thing you can do is forget 3dmark.When you play games run highest res you can max the gfx and run full aa and af then most if not all bottleneck will be gone.If you want big 3dmark numbers upgrade to Intel and overclock but forget 3dmark it doesnt mean anything and its only good for willy waving.
