Question Problem with Kaspersky - 04-15-2007, 16:26 | posts: 2

Hi,

I'm using ATT a while now, and recently upgraded my kaspersky virus scanner to the newest version (6.0.2.x).

Since then, I can't use ATT anymore, because everytime I start it, kaspersky's avp.exe goes to 99% and kaspersy's log has about 100 entries per second (!) saying "process c:\windows\system32\taskmgr.exe tries to load the module c:\programme\ati tray tools\raphook.dll into microsoft window's task manager". (this is translated by me cause i'm using the german version, so i don't know the exact message in english).

I already have set ATT to the exclusion list in kaspersky etc, to no avail.

Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

thanks in advance,

cu, Knilch2000

I never sow this problem with Kaspersky. Try to set all ATT's .dll into exception list of antivirus.

Hi Ray,

thanks for your answer

I tried what you said, but to no avail.
I reinstalled ATT, didn't work either.

I think it's kind of strange, guess I'm not the only one using kaspersky with ATT, but I can't find any info about this problem anywhere.

Is this action the antivir log describes (raphook.dll trying to load into taskmgr) a normal action ATT takes? Or is it in any kind suspicious? I thought about this being some kind of virus or stuff.. Though I'm usually very careful installing software, I'm working as restricted user, using a nat router etc.

Is there anything further we can do? Maybe you can send me some kind of debug version which logs some stuff?

thanks,

cya, Knilch2000

PS: for reference, I also posted this in kaspersky's forum: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=36277
