Default Remote Desktop - transfering local printer - 03-23-2007, 14:58 | posts: 801 | Location: Troy, Ohio

I'm having problems using remote desktop on a terminal services server.

The printer is installed on my local machine as HP Laserjet 3390 via a TCP port. When I connect to the terminal services server that printer never seems to make it. I've installed the printer's drivers on the server, Windows 2003, which didn't seem to do any good.

Before, I was able to add a new printer, specify one of the ts00? ports and the driver and everything is good and functioning. This time no matter what ts port I specify, the print job instantly fails.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
