Money if a factor but not a big one. Can you guys point me in the right direction for gear please? Go with wireless N technology. It is safer and has a longer distance. Just google it and you will see a ton of equipment out there to choose from. Just stick with a brand name and you'll be good to go.

Hope that helps and have fun!!

How is the Wireless G gear? I am gonna do some reading I am just asking here as alot of you guys probably use these devices by different companies so you can tell me from first hand experience. I am looking aroun for guides on the net. Haven't done a wireless one yet. What is the easiest way to set it up?

Is it a multi-level house? Is it a big house? Is it going through any brick walls?
Signal strength can become an issue depending on those issues. It may determine you need either just a wireless router or the router and an access point to channel more signal greater distances or just to a specific spot.
Besides that setting up a wireless network is pretty easy. May have some minor configuration but usually all the new stuff has all automated and automatic features so its basically plug in and go.
