Benchmark Mayhem This section is for you benchmark freaks. Wanna show off your 3D Mark Vantage scores with your brand new GTX 295 SLI or Radeon HD 4870 X2 Crossfire in that Intel Core 2 rig? Then this is your section!
3528 with 3DMark2001 SE is what I got on the following specs, with pixel shading and nature tests skipped (dunno why):
Windows XP Pro
P4 1.5ghz (not O/C'd)
512MB RDRAM (RAMBUS, think its at 800mhz)
GeForce 2 Pro 64MB from Leadtek (23.11 drivers)
Monster Sound MX300 (my favorite sound card heh)
Maxtor 30GB ATA100 HDD
i850 chipset mobo, forget name/brand
Think thats all the important stuff. Would like to know how to get more performance out of this.
what are you running the benchmark at?
the pixel shader and nature test skip 'cause geforce2's can't do them, they lack the hardware (pixel shader and enviro bumpmapping).
you want to squeeaze a little more outta that system you're gonna have to overclock something.
Hmmm ya that does look about right. You said yourself your games run fine. 3DMark2001/SE is just a directx 8 "demo". They throw way to much weight on how you run the nature and pixel shader test...in my opininon. I could be wrong though....prolly am.

As long as your games run fine, don't even worry about the benchmarks. Take it from me, they're just for bragging rights (Inno heheh). . .or to show how far you can push your system (Milenko and Mlodorous). . .If your games run fine, that's all you really need to worry about. . .
Yea, I agree with milenko. But if you want more benchie points, download the tweaks we have on the site. Under the download the section on the main page. There are alos tons of fourm guides on how to tweak you system, with out nessesarly ocing things. Just look around some, great tips are everywhere!
