Looking for translators from English to other languages

Current version of ATT has build in UNICODE support so any language files must be saved in UNICODE.
To make translation just download last beta version (look for link in beta thread). And open lng folder inside main ATT folder. Make copy of english.lng . Rename it to your language and translate.
Snd me link to translation file and I will include it into next build

I'm working on a german translation and it should be finished tonite, but it would be useful to have a beta-version with included multilingual support.

Especially string length turns out to be problematic with english->german translations, is there any limit inside ATT you know of?

I can give beta version with ML included. Just send me your email to traytools(at)guru3d.com. Also provide info on what language you will translate it. Also if you fin that some controls to short, just tell me which, and I will try to reorganize GUI.

Ok Ray i managed to finish the french translation. It's quite difficult to find how much english acronyms are acceptable in other languages. I am not sure about your funny %symbols too where exactly they all go. I mailed you the file (first draft).

Anyway, boy that there is many terms.

Hehe, I did a german translation and played around with them. Seemed to me that some of them do nothing, except for #m which sometimes forces a newline and some others seem to include icons.

Anyway, boy that there is many terms.

I thought this "tiny, little tool" will be translated within 30 minutes, but the textfile grew longer and longer...

Stupid me!

Now I found out what those "funny & symbols are used for. While I didn't change #m #s because they mean newline and "one space" as well as all that string and numerical values that are included with %s and so on, I mostly ignored those single & or placed them randomly because I didn't know what they mean.

This way I broke most of the keyboard shortcuts and now I have to go through the whole translation again to restore them, e.g. &Reset means you can just type [Alt]+[r] (Re&set would be [Alt]+[s]).

If someone does the Finnish version, I can read it through and check it's ok. I think this kind of job would be too hard for me to do. Of course I can try if no one does, something is better than nothing, but I'm sure you'll find someone better, like Arzek if it should be from Guru3D.

Wouldn't it be much easier for us to learn English? I've looked at the English text to translate into Dutch, but hey, it's just too much...
