Default feature request: adjustable gamma ramp - 04-10-2006, 18:59 | posts: 2

First off, I am very pleased with ATT, as it keeps the catalyst control center out of my computer. The prog would be even better with an adjustable gamma ramp as the ForceWare for the GForces has.

As for my LCD monitor the usual brightness/contrast/gamma settings are not enough, as it has a rather weird contrast response (some sort of knee) in the dark colors which cannot be corrected that way. So I thought an option for adjusting the gamma ramp could also be an useful feature also for others with such monitors.

Actually I use RivaTuner for setting the gamma ramp, but every time I reboot, or launch a game this ramp is overwritten by the default values. So this way I cannot have the right colors when playing games. I think if ATT could do these gamma ramp manipulations which could be used together with the game profiles would be just the right solution for me.

I don't understand you man. ATT has the same color manipulation like RivaTuner has. So what you want?

Well, RivaTuner has an option called "custom color curve" where one can directly manipulate the plotted curve by dragging some node points around. I have not seen this feature in ATT but perhaps I am missing something? I have ATT 1.0.5.824 on my computer.
