I read that the first HD DVDs (HD DVD as well as BlueRay) will hit the shelfs somewhere around this spring, altough the manufacturers still argue about which format to support (as well already know from DVD+-R). Are these information right?
What about the players? Will there be players which support both media? What will they cost? Will there be players with hard drives as well?

Alright, after some time has passed now and March has come nearer, I read an interesting article concerning this topic over at CDFreaks. Guess that will delay the mass market of all those new disc / player combos for at least one year, if not much longer.
The normal DVD will suffice for me then
