Default Shared memory feature - 12-25-2005, 09:56 | posts: 14 | Location: Thessaloniki, Greece

Hello ! I have two simple questions regarding the shared memory sdk for Delphi.

1. Are the "Free video memory", "Free texture memory", "Show 3D API Type" and "System memory used by process" supported in the sdk ? There are VERY important indeed, especially the last two ones.

2. The AA/AF shared memory variables seem to be zero when these values are set to be "application controlled". Does ATI Tool detect the current AA/AF settings from the game or they are the user defined ones (hence zero, when they are set to application controlled) ?

Thanks very much in advance !!!

1. No, but I can add them if you want
2. ATT shows settings from Catalyst values, not from actual in game values because I don't know a way to detects thouse settiongs directly in game.

If it is not much work for you, this would be really appreciated in order to enhance the LCDHype plugin as well !!! Please let me know.

As far as the AA/AF settings are considered, I don't really know why catalyst cannot report the correct values when a game is run. For example I set everything to 'application controlled' and run HalfLife 2 with 6x AA and 16x AF. But these values remain zero unfortunately

Thanks for your support !

I know, I just need the extra shared memory segments for these new features in ATT.

I don't know what a G15 is. I am using a 240x128 external lcd display to show system information with LCDHype.

Oh you mean the keyboard. Nope, this is far too small to display any serious information. I could upload a photo to show you what I mean, but I can't in this forum !

Yep, the Logitech keyboard w/the little LCD. I notice that the peeps out there writing LCD display plugins for it are also using LCDHype. I don't know what resolution it is. What are you using? An LCD on your box itself?
