Default How do I open up Port 80?? Please help! - 10-08-2005, 20:57 | posts: 272 | Location: Washington, USA

Ok..I have a webpage that people used to be able to look at. But ever since I bought this D-Link DGL-4100 Broadband Gaming Router, nobody can see my page anymore. I also can stream any audio on Napster. Somebody told me I have to open up Port 80 cause that's what my webpage is on. But I have no experience in routers so I need some help!!!

Is there anybody with this router who can help me and also maybe help me on how to use GameFuel??

Thanks

Need to go into your Firewall rules, or whatever DLink call it.

Setup a rule to forward port 80 to your machines IP address, and if you followed my guide about assigning everything statically, it will be quite easy.

With Game Fuel, you just use a drop down menu to say what game you are using, and it will prioritise those packets over everything else.

Read the manual, they really are great bits of info.
