i want to try it but i want to create a new partition for it.
some one help me out....i got my win xp partition and a general partition.
now i want to add a partition for win xp 64. how do i do it without losing any info from my general partition?

Normally you can make an other partition with partition magic without losing any information.

well no they wont.
Unlike 32 bit programs which works flawlessly on 64bit windows, your 32bit drivers wont work.
You beed 64 but drivers from your hardware maker.
Most of popular mainstream devices have 64 bit drivers but there are devices like old printers, TV cards which do not have 64 but drivers yet.
