Cuckoo 4.57 UDA nforce audio drivers

Downloaded 'em

uninstalled my REALTEK's ALC 850 drivers

on my MObo Asus K8NE-Deluxe

driver cleaned 'em

ask winxp nicely to install 'em

XP retorts as "i promise you i will give u hell if you try installing these sort of drivers for this piece of hardware"

i back of don't wanna get on XP's bad side

I want to install these drivers

so any way possible

I also installed Realtek WDM because nVidia audio didn't work execept 4.56 version (not WHQL) ... if you overwrite 4.56 *.inf on 4.57 folder you can install it ... but not with setup, in System Devices / Update Driver / Select Driver / *.inf / nVidia Audio Interface [nVidia Codec interface will not install ... it seems that it's not compatible]

well sorry for such a long delay but i finally took the risk...and IT WORKED....you can do a manual install of the driver , despite what XP sez, you can install either of the two interfaces and it does install and then i do a manual install of the nv mixer from the 5.10 set and i am good to go

i keep the aud2zs installed in both OS'es, but keep the Realtek installed in win2k hooked up to Altec Lansing acs54 (4.1 sound system) and im XP i am NOW using the NFORCE audio controller along with the 2ZS
