I`ve been freezing a few VCs and have run into throttling bad with a new FX5900 XT card and with a couple 6800 GT cards I have.
Is there a way to lock the temp with the RT?? I found a place to force Performance 3D, but it doesn`t seem to help. Thanks for any replys. |

Freezing and throttling are _absolutely_ different things. Please read RivaTuner's FAQ, keyword is RobustChannels.

Hi,
Thanks for the responce. Sorry for the missunderstanding. By 'freezing' I meen with cooling the core with a Vapochill unit, not the screen freezing. With a e-VGA FX5900XT, when the card boots when frozzen the power century will come up on boot and report that the extra power cord is not plugged in and it scores about half performance of when on air. I assumed it was throttling, was I wrong? |
