So this week or the other we will have the ISO's?

It was about time to format my system :banana:

 

Don't know anything about official ISO releases, but you can make an ISO today if you install the latest insiders preview in a VM, then upgrade to this build, capture the files and decrypt to ISO

Or wait a few hours and you can grab the ESD from the 14393 update that we're supposed to be getting and decrypt that

Once the ESDs arrive, WZor usually host the en-US and Russian ones, possibly more regions with it being RTM

 

It took forever to install but it finally did. That WU error isn't there for me at least.

"windows mixed reality" & "windows display media viewer" are still there in start. Well if "connect" is still there after so long, I shouldn't be shocked. Sloppy.

I quit the insider program in Settings and it offered me a bunch of choices. I chose wait for release and receive updates until then. I was expecting it to show "slow" ring or whatever but instead it shows I'm no longer participating? RTM I guess?

 

anyway to defrag universal windows apps?

windows defrag wont touch them.
defraggler wont defrag them.

 

aww was hoping to see offical iso when check back today.

Im still using 1511 build on my personal system , Im think i should update to when official ones are out. Im sure 1 way or another my OCD will be triggered by something

Could try Mydefrag, that if you can still find it, seeing author is no longer keeping it update and main site is gone, Though I Think most Defrag have limit to how big file can big be before it wont defrag it, I know for istance My defrag would not defrag a 50gb file.

I use Foxit for that if for some reason they dont work in FF/CF

 

Finally MS online services (I needed to access 1drive) are back and the first thing I see after logging in is an ad which dimmed the tab UAC style and had a message that I'm only on the basic plan and I should upgrade. Oh boy.

They never harassed me to upgrade to premium back in the 2MB hotmail days ironically.

I really like Edge actually but it still definitely needs lots of work.

 

I like Edge as well, but i never use it as i'm just used to Chrome even though i think it's crap lol.

 

Edge is still a work in progress, and it will take years before it ever reaches the level of refinement that Chrome has reached, if it ever does.

Also, it's likely that they used the Redstone 1 version of Edge for that hacking test. The Creators version is significantly more secure from what I've read.

You can create ISO's from the UUP's as well.

 

Yea that's what I did, UUPs are in the OP with the decrypter

 

UUP zips are 10GB though. That will take much longer than a 2.7GB esd.
