Really enjoyed the bench. I liked it a lot better than Heaven 4.0. Really amazing atmosphere.

Are you messing with me? They are still way too big.

I will post some scores when I get home from work. I ran the test last night and noticed the bench in certain areas would pause for a split second and resume. Anyone else notice this? It happens with Heaven 4.0 also.

Adam he's reffering to your post #49 in page 2 . He means to edit your post and delete the oversized screenshots and repost them in a resolution of 1280x1024 or lower.

I think I noticed it. What I noticed it freezed for a slit second and resume.. But I blamed my OC because after that if I remember correctly, my FPS went from like 40-50 to 20's. Might not be OC tho.

To me either these 2 new Heaven benches are unstable or my OC. And I think is the former because I just finished Heaven 3.0 with 1228MHz while in Heaven 4.0 I couldn't even bench above 1202MHz.

I noticed that too. Probably affects the score a bit

I'm getting it as well. Hopefully we get a better driver soon.

SLI doesn't seem to be scaling well in this.

It scales well (~2x FPS) on Intel platforms at least. 3 way and 4 way are another story though and it does require heavily overclocked SB/IB chips to scale acceptably. I don't want to start an Intel vs AMD fight here, but yes your score is lowered by your CPU, as overclocked as it is.

    Yes me 3,

But i think i found the cause here, it was because of high vram OC.

I lowered it from 2290mhz to 2280mhz and it almost stopped (it didnt affect lowest fps). Before I had one low fps spike down to min 8fps after i lowered my OC it was normal with ~ 17.5fps and maybe 1-2 micro 0.1 -0.2 second hitches (with higher vram almost every scene 6-7 for sure and a lot longer 0.5sec or so).

I've ran it with no Vram OC. It doesn;t happen has often, but you can still see it in the GPU usage graph.

I get 96-98 usage on mine, but usage drops down to 20% or so with each scene change.. annoying. also sometimes my first card drops to 50% usage at the base clock.

Do you have any special settings in NVCP for this program?

No, only prefer maximum performance, and render frames ahead to application controlled. Might need to clock your CPU higher, it basically uses 100% of my first core

Unfortunately 4.7GHz is as high as I can go.

Hm idk then, could be memory flushing that causes it. But I know it was less pronounced or almost none at a bit lower vram frequency. Heaven 4.0 doesnt have any hickups even at higher vram freq.

Btw i didnt see any cpu limitation all 4 cores stayed ~ 30-40% through whole test, similar in Heaven 4.0.

try setting the affinity to your real cores. i got a small boost by doing that
