It is a little shocking to see the remarks in this thread.

I'm sure the OP will never come back again as apparently its too hard for the Guru3D community to actually do what he came here for in the first place .. helping him out with an issue. Pretty much similar to how most of you guys originally ended up here (you probably did get help).

Gents, if you can not behave in a thread and derail from the topic or start insulting, then I'd be happy to point you the way out of these forums.

Wise words... Well, I know at least I tried and I did some quick but exhaustive search on why when he enable the 4 690's(8 GPUs) it reverts back to OpenGL 1.1 instead of using OpenGL 4.2 but I didn't find anything conclusive.

Really? Please take 3 seconds and read the post above you...

Agreed.. easy on the *haha send it to me and I'll fix it* comments peops.. its not clever or funny at all actually.

Kinda disappointing to see so much "spam" instead of actual answers.

Anyway, OP honestly you would do best to just get in contact with Nvidia if you have not already.

    Hello,

Thank you for the info, but we already see on SlashGear.
We believe that their server is running on linux.

for moment we managed to do open OpenGL 4.3 and 4.2 by introducing a video card ATI whereby we plug in our main screen.
This allows us to run OpenGL 4.2 and use the gtx 690 gpu for our calculation software.
We opened a case with Nvidia U.S. after many exchange performs a test to understand the real problem.
If we have a real solution given by Nvidia we will not hesitate to contact you.
If anyone has any ideas, they are welcome.

Thank you in advance and thank you for this exchange.
Sorry for advance for my english.

    Best regard

Just an assumption, but by looking at what DCNX has for hardware, if its really only a SINGLE 690 (2 gpu's), then does that board even have a Nforce 200 or what ever version of SLI chip is now on motherboards for SLI?

Not sure if you need it for a single card (since the card has a ribbon cable that acts as internal SLI for both cards) and i know that Nvidia licensed all (at least) consumer boards with SLI since nehalem, but not sure for server grade Xeon boards.

If it isn't working and its these EXACT reasons i thought of it being the reason why, then that would be why... please do correct me if I am wrong because I probably am.

What are you trying to do with all this GPU? Is there a certain application you are trying to use with them such as ray trace rendering or 3d modeling ?

    slow clap.

This is the first time i have come across such a thread in Guru3d forums, i did a bit of googling but i got no results for your situation. In my opinion it is definitely a driver issue for sure,i wish i could be of more help. All i can say is wait for Nvidia Support to see if they come up with a solution or some kind of hotfix for your problem. As someone else pointed out the Geforce range of gpu's are for gaming (and i don't think Nvidia had in mind when writing their drivers for an 8 gpu config) Quadros or teslas or more orientated for a super computer but the cost would go through the roof!!! Anyway good luck with Nvidia support and i hope they fix your issue ASAP......

I won't pretend that I understand what 4 GeForce cards (8 GPU) are doing in server rack
    (botched order? LOL)

but here... these have full support for 8 Tesla K.
