Darn, delayed again, this time one month to March 26th http://www.gamespot.com/news/bioshock-infinite-delayed-again-6401224 New Screens:
http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/12/07/what-i-loved-about-bioshock-infinite/ (How do you use a FoV slider if there's no value listed? well it's only a minor gripe.)
It's possible. I've seen it in other games. You just... slide it and hope for the best I'm guessing that by the time it's released, they'll fix it up. It's Unreal Engine 3 so hopefully the usual commands can be bound to keys for quickly changing to preferred FOVs.
Good thing there is an in-game adjustment for FOV. Bioshock 2 did not have any and I felt motion sickness with the way it was set.
I didn't like Rapture's look so I could never really get into Bioshock but I'm really digging this one's art! I hope the delay is for all plats and the release goes smoothly.
Kind of hope certain parts of it won't look like that. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with that hand in the fourth screen? The fingers, the complete lack of a wrist... that looks really, really bad.
Far Cry 3 ended up looking much better than expected, so poor comparison. I noticed the rubber hand as well, hard to know if that is bad or not as without knowing the context we don't know if that is supposed to or not. Visually the game looks very basic and abit dated, but the art style is great which in many ways is more important, Dishonored is a recent example.
First Few Minutes of BioShock Infinite http://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...=player_embedded&v=60zmVrtIBzw&has_verified=1
The first game was epic, I played it from start to finish, However i have no urge for Bioshock 2 or Infinite as the first game killed it for me even though the experience was great i would not want to go through all of that type of game again.
Because BluRay support never existed for PC games, and probably never will unless PC games decide to take a jump to say 100+ GB in the next few years. Nice to see another game coming into modern standards when it comes to filesize, but i'm guessing devs/publishers are more now more comfortable that enough of their audience being able to download something like that from Steam etc... Helpful, and funny way to let us know the minimum specs, resolution & framerate would be nice to go with it, but that is rare. Hoping it's accurate as the game will be out before any new video cards, and i'm not buying anything new until after AMD/Nvidia have their new gear out
Looks like more of the same, but I'm still looking forward to this. Probably not buy it straight away, though.
