Oh, well 1.1.2 removed an infinite arrow pick up exploit.

Used to be able to just run around in circles while horsebacked enemies shot you with arrows to collect hundreds easy, now caps at 20 before they start going through the ground

Yah that's the only way it looked like 60fps as the game is 95% 30fps locked now.. Eurogamer confirmed with the last patch it's a solid 30fps now.

Damn, after seeing the game run with super-sampling on my pc it's just not possible to go back to the wii u jaggies. 5-6hours in on the pc and im trying to force my self to stop and wait a few more months for better software

Been playing on PC too with latest CEMU however even on my i7 and 1080gtx, it still only runs around 20fps with 10fps dips, at times lower when it's loading. Some intermittent pauses and longer load times and all that just at 1080p without any SS or anything else.....just not playable.

What kind of hardware do you guys even have for this to be remotely playable?

Version 1.2.0

•Various fixes to improve the gameplay experience
•Players will be able to experience the game in one of nine audio languages [Japanese, English, French (France), French (Canada), German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Italian and Russian], with a different language used for on-screen text by downloading a free software update. To enable this feature in the Wii U version of the game, players will need to download a Voice Pack from Nintendo eShop.
This patch is available for both Switch and Wii U players.

Breath of the Wild’s first DLC

The Trial of the Sword: A certain, sacred location will allow you to take on this trial where an onslaught of enemies will challenge Link, who starts the trial without equipment or weapons. After clearing approximately 45 rooms the “true power” of the Master Sword will awaken.

Hero’s Path Mode: This new map feature will show you where Link has walked over the past 200 hours of gameplay. Use this to find where you spend the most time… and where you haven’t explored at all! See the feature in action on the official site.

Hard Mode: Enemies gradually regain health, and are already powered up by one level from the start of the game. You may even find enemies and treasure chests in the sky.

The Travel Medallion: Find the chest containing this medallion, and you can register any current position as a fast travel point. (Only one custom travel point is allowed at a time.)

The Korok Mask: Still hunting down the 900(!) Korok seeds spread throughout Hyrule? If the task feels impossible, hunt this mask down. When Link wears it, it will shake when he’s close to a Korok location.

New armor: Finally, hints in the overworld will lead you to eight new treasure chests that contain the pieces of two new armor sets — Phantom Armor and Tingle’s Outfit — as well as Majora’s Mask and Midna’s Helmet.

The first DLC does not excite me...I know it couldn't be a full new adventure but I thought it would be something more story oriented. The masks and armors are small stuff that I don't really care about.

Got my switch a couple days ago, totally hooked on Zelda now.

Think I'm getting way ahead of myself exploring, enemies are one hitting me and I just found a shine with a trial called A Major Test of Strength. Got my ass handed to me.

Yeah major strength are the hardest combat shrines in the game haha

Save it for later.

Main route to follow is east of the plateau then to kakariko

Beat the Major test of strength today, was quite easy actually. I spammed it with ice arrows and a thunder blade. Got my full climbing gear outfit now!
