I have a very low end setup that I want to upgrade.

Dell OptiPlex 760 (Small Form Factor)

    Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60GHz
    Memory: 4GB DDR2 RAM
Graphics: Intel(R) Q45/Q43 Express Chipset (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)
    OS: Windows 8 x64

I only want to play GTA San Andreas and a bit of CSS.

So I am looking for a cheap PCI Express graphics card but it must be a low profile card due to the SFF case.

I don't mind second-hand. Which card is the next step-up from my integrated graphics?

Any few generations old card would be better than Intel integrated GFX and should be enough for GTA SA and CSS.

That's GeForce 210, GT 220/240/520/610/620/630, Radeon HD 4550/5450/6450 and so on.

In case you want to play some newer games, there are GT 640, HD 6570, HD 6670, HD 7750 and similar cards with low profile variations.

    I think I'm going to go with a GT610 1GB for about £30-£35.

I won't be playing any other games, this system is just a stop-gap until the Haswell laptops are released next year.

    Cheers
