there is no freakin uninstaller and i had to use ds beta in safe mode. i never had any probs installing/uninstalling anything so this defo is the drivers fault or driver sweepers because wen i reinstalled 185.85 it gave a nvlcpl.dll loading error

Well just because you have problems, do not mean another person will have your same problems. Because I had to reinstall them as I didnt put the override Edid for my montior right in the ini.Which I have to for every driver, because of my montior not liking pure HDMI mode to force it in DVI coming out of my computer.

And my registy didnt get corrupted. If you can do a roll back that if you have windows recovery enabled still.

driver sweeper only cleans the registry and delete the nvidia folder, it does nt uninstall the driver. If it is not in the normal uninstall list, simply uninstall thru device manager. If you wish to keep yor previous settings, you have to install over the otherm driver

You can either use nHancer to export your profiles, or backup the file nvapps.xml manually, since it stores all the profile settings, iirc. :nerd:

I never have removed old drivers or done any thing.AND I NEVER HAVE ISSUSE WITH FORCEWARE DRIVERS INSTALLING/UNINSTALLING ALWAYS IS GREAT,Even betas.
*I do delete the old driver from the nvidia file on C drive, thats it.But its not needed really.

It's pretty simple. Instead of asking what is the problem and what could be done about it. Seems like he knows so much to tell people what he thinks and format is his best option. So I LOL!

Hmmm... these drivers seem to work fine for my 9600GT under win xp... EXCEPT for some strange behaviour of software, which uses hardware overlay for video output acceleration :3eyes: ...

    But: never mind!

What about device manager? :p Uninstall driver and delete the driver when it prompts you about it.

Nobody has anything against you "LOL!'ing" but there is no need for you to bash.

Is it just me, or does anything else think twice about nvidia drivers that aren't available on the nvidia website?

    these are delicious!

    installed for 8800gt on win7 32bit b7229

games work just fine, haven't bumped into problems...
3D Stereoscopic for anaglyph (red/blue) glasses works great in games :)
only need this registry fix to bypass stupid wizard which doesn't seem to finish verification:

    http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=87831&view=findpost&p=500035

also you can change colors if you have glasses other than red/blue:

edit: also Street Fighter 4 Benchmark now work with AA selected ingame.
it previously always crashed the driver (185.85) when benching + AA

Stop bitching and tell us what/if any bugs are fixed and speed improvements are done.
