mysterious ATI driver has popped up

    Yeah, I installed the WM9 acceleration driver, uninstalled it and clocks are back to normal now, all good.

    Edit, clocks are still going up in idle, idle temps have gone up 20c because of the clock bug so back to 10.3's

    im suspicious of the file size...

    normally drivers are around the 100-120 mark for a full package... any reason why this is 380megs?

    Not for me. I have 400 / 1000 in idle. Did you install everything even application profiles?

    my clocks in idle general computing are low(400/1200), but my main 1st 5850's fan rpm is cycling around 1630...strange thing i think i hear it all time long...wtf..??:bang:

    ok they just started working normally :wanker:

    Right i can't overclock with theses drivers -_- or they'll **** powerplay.

    low clocks doesnt matter, when u launch a 3d application it's getting normal outside power saving mode, but the strange thing here is the temp doesnt become lower than normal..in simple words, lower clock but same temp...wow...clock/fans ratio fail...:3eyes:

    Could be an early attempt by ATI to fix the dual screen flickering problem when overclocking, just needs a little more refinement.
