Hello all. 2 weeks and I am not decided about which computer case should I buy. My system will be LGA 1155 Intel DZ68BC, AMD SAPHIRE 7970, 16 gigs of Kingston HyperX RAM, Corsair HX 850 power supply and only 3 hhds. I am not an overclocker. I use everything in default mode. I like the clean look, but the clean Computer cases I saw on the market I have not seen quality in material that are built or they are enormous in size. I wanted a decent mid tower, visually clean (Apple style) and with quality steel with less chance of rust. What tips would you give me? I can't find aluminiun cases anymore in my country. I liked these models (though the visual not be clean), just the corsair has clean look is great but still I liked the corsair. 1) Corsair Graphite Series 600TM ATX Case ( very good clean appearence but is it big?? Or have vibration on the sides?) 2) RAIDMAX Helios ATX-819WB Black Steel ( I know this is not clean, but I love the appearence, it have a good iron, good quality?) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...ark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=3#scrollFullInfo 3) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119194 ( I don't really like the appearence, but seems very solid and more efficient air flow than Corsair 600TM ?) not taking into consideration the price. which one are the best for a mid tower computer? Please, I need sugestions about the ones that really cool inside and no noise and that have dusty filters and etc... Thank you in advance.
I'd say, go for the one you like (i'd go for the looks, a.k.a Raidmax). Or if choosing from another one, i'd go for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119196
Lian Li PC-7FN Mid-tower http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112345 All Aluminum construction, very quiet and cool, sleek clean look! Currently using this very case and love it. Note: Lian Li sells upgrade options for this model such as top mounted fans, fan control panel and ETC.
Please, please, please dont even buy a Raidmax, they suck... to the max. The power supplies they come with suck, the case quality sucks. They have horrible airflow, no dust filters, nor cable management abilities. That's just the top of the list.
Thank you everyone. In my country I don't have all these options. I can find easily models from Cooler Master and Corsair. So, should I buy the Corsair Graphite Series 600TM ( mesh side panel) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139007 or Cooler master Storm Sniper SGC-6000-KXN1-GP Black Steel http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119194 http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6702 or this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139011 I really love the Corsair Graphite Series 600TM but it's tooooooo big in Depth. Thank you in advance.
The Antec P280 is a nice clean and quiet unit with good build quality: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129179 slightly smaller than the 600T, but you never told us what your maximum dimensions were. There's also the slightly smaller P183 v3 that was replaced by the P280: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129174
Ok, don't worry. I won't buy it anymore. And the Corsair Carbide Series 300R ??? I liked the case. have front filter? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139011&Tpk=Corsair Carbide Series 300R It have good steel? Durable? I really need something small with very good air flow. I saw this one And I am in love, but do you think the air flow is enought for my system? This one -> http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6702
Then it's Corsair Graphite Series 600TM all the way, they have really good airflow and awesome build quality. I'd definitely pick that 1.
Corsair 550D? Clean, sleek, quiet, mid sized-mid tower, cable routing etc etc http://www.corsair.com/obsidian-series-550d-mid-tower-quiet-case.html http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139012
I Have a Bitfenix Shinobi, looks really nice and clean, just stick a fan or two at the front and you should have nice airflow over imprtant components like the GPU. Though having said that, I currently have all 5 main fan slots occupied, nice and quiet with 4pin PWM fans http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/chassis/shinobi#overview
Hello, I saw this, is a very good one, But I didnt find it in my country. THank you for all replies Here we have only: Cooler master Silencio 550 Corsair Carbide Series 300R Black Steel someone could tell if the 300R comes with front filter? or Corsair Carbide Series 500R And the Corsair Graphite 600TM ( but is too big in depth and I dont have room for it) 3-4 inches makes a lot of difference for me. THank you for all.
I quite like the Corsair 550D. Some other alternatives could be Fractal Design R3, Antec 300 (or Antec 302) and Coolermaster Silencio 550. They're all mid-towers and the Antec 300's have good airflow whilst the others are great for silence.
