Ouch for all those spending thousands on Titan and then they release the 'Ultra' version.

This is not a big deal for those who bought the Original Titan because they will probably sell it and grab the Ultra.

remind me the 8800GTX and later the ultra edition, probably won't be much different.

I wonder what price range of the titan le would be.

Was curious to see if they would bring out GK110 with 2880 shaders.

Haha i said this all along on some posts on here that i bet they would bring out a Titan with the SMX cluster enabled. I had a feeling this would happen but not this soon!

Shame for those that bought the current Titan.

One of the risks involved, being a first adopter.

I agree but Nvidia could be releasing this alittle too soon for my liking.
If i was an original owner of a Titan i would be abit annoyed, 2-3 months and already an updated card.....Nvidia know how to milk it!

If LE will be ~600 Bucks, then that's gonna be my card of choice, especially with 5GB ram.

How much faster can the Ultra be over the normal TITAN?

And even now nvidia knows that most titan users will sell it and get a "ultra" version.

Nividia makes money on them and new users that will rush to buy one (and it will be outdated in less then a year) :D

If it scales linearly... 1 cluster worth. The GTX 680 didn't seem to scale linearly in comparison to the GTX 670 though, it scaled relatively poorly. Or at least in past benchmarks which I checked, hopefully they improved it.

I think Two Standard Titans will even hold up against the next gen Maxwell chips.
