    Hey.

I decide that i will do a fresh windows 7 install on my computer and i was wondering if you guys can help me with drivers.

Here are my specs Acer aspire 5738G:
Processor: Intel core 2 Duo T6600(2200.00 MHz)

    Motherboard: Acer JV50(Intel PM45 (Cantiga-PM) + ICH9M(Base))

Display adapter: Ati mobility Radeon HD 4570

    Audio Adapter: Intel 82801lB ICH9 - High Definition Audio[A3]
High Definition Audio Codec: RealTek ALC888

Ok so for display adapter its best to download drivers from offical site right?

But other drivers i cant find... On acer webpage they are all outdated(from 2009), so i was hoping you can help me find them.

So i the drivers i need are for : motherboard(chipset),audio, and maybe processor? Is this all or anything else?

    Ty for your help!!

Since these are fairly old, I think most of these drivers should be automatically installed with Windows 7.

If they aren't then I would at least start with the drivers that are on the support page to get you up and running. Then download the Acer Updater tool which can help find newer versions.

But i think that acer updater only checks acer website for drivers.... On that page drivers is already outdated. I ran i driver updater program, and it says that i have outdated drivers. I looked on google for chipset drivers and couldnt found it. I was hoping some of you can help me with that...

    Ty

Go to the Intel website for chipset drivers.

The official ati ones are fine for that card.

    http://support.acer.com/product/default.aspx?modelId=1120

    there's the drivers

edit, I realised you said it was outdated, that's fine, it doesn't matter, install them, they'll be the newest versions available, you don't need brand new drivers for old products.

you don't need a newer driver, all it needs to do is provide sound, which it will do, you were likely using that driver for years anyway, likely there won't even be newer drivers

    just install the chipset driers
