Edited my post, it's about 8-10% faster. It's not much, but it's much faster, so saying that the 760 is faster is a pure nonsense comment. Also, the 670 will overclock much better.
The £280 price I got for the 280x was just a glance at the first three results in Amazon. Anyway it's still just out of my price range. 670's seem to be going second hand on Ebay for about the same price as a new 760.
What are you looking at. The link you provided shows me 1 frame in a game faster in 1080P no AA. Where is this 10 percent?
No, the pure nonsense comment is the comment saying the 760 is more or less a GTX 660. Now that is nonsense...
Did you look at the numbers in the link YOU provided? How does 1 FPS turn into 10%? And speaking of this I bet a reboot and it would be the same. Are you actually going to argue a frame with me? LOL And this second chart just shows how bull crap things can actually be. Look at the scores we got dead ties in all but one which was 1 FPS and all of a sudden that turns into relative performance of up to 10%?
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/830?vs=854 The 670 is generally faster by 5-10% depending on the title at stock, and has more overclocking headroom. You in an earlier post claimed the 760 was faster than a 670, you also claimed you were maxing out BF4 on a 760 and getting a steady 90 + fps, both of which are lies. You then had the audacity to call someone else out for posting what you claimed was bad info? Honestly, almost every time I see you post it's utter bollocks.
actually, I think he was saying the 760 is much faster than the 660, not the 670, now that I read it again. Yes, the 760 is faster, but not much faster. and it looses to 670 across the board, hence why some suggested getting a 670 instead, not to mention it's oc headroom advantage over the 760.
In some games it is faster depending on the game. Do a google search read the actual things instead of being pissed off that a cheaper card comes out and knocks off the more expensive cards. Why you guys get upset about this is funny as hell to me. You guys make BS claims to people that are asking honest questions about the GTX 760 when you don't even own the card in question. Well guess what? I do!!
Here's the deal when I get home I'll disable one of my 670's and run any bench mark you want me to and comparison it to your highest clock.
From the reply he just made to me it seems he was also claiming the 760 is faster than a 670. Honestly, this guy is delusional, and it's not the first time he's crapped up a thread. Did you even bother to look at the link I gave you? It was faster in almost every single title. You're also ignoring the overclocking potential, but then you do this sort of thing a lot now don't you? I've seen 670's go for less than a 760 which was the point originally made.
I don't know where you're getting 1fps from. This is all at 1080p. The 670 beats the 760 in all of these games by the following fps. AC3 - 2.5fps BF3 - 6.9fps Bioshock Infinite - 7.6fps Borderlands 2 - 7fps BLOPS 2 - 10fps CoJ: Gunslinger - 14.5fps Crysis - 3.7fps Crysis 3 - 1.7fps Diablo 3 - 21.2fps FC3 - 3.7fps Grid 2 - 2.4fps Hitman: Absolution - 1.8fps etc...
Those 670 benches were probably run at 915. The 760 has a higher starting clock and boost as well. What does 760 power target go up to. I would much rather have a 670 vs 760. But I would rather have a 760 than a 660 or 660ti for obvious reasons
Nobody is pissed off. And I wouldn't say the 670 is more expensive, just checked a few etailers (newegg, and some UK ones) and they cost about the same. The fact remains, the 670 is the faster card in pretty much every game you can think off. Get over it. It's a fact.
I'd love to see that too! I know Loop can beat my 3dmark score with a single card (because of my ****ty physics score ) so I'm sure he'll destroy a 760 in any bench.
