I'm considering using the EVGA step up program. For $242 I could step up to 2 780TIs but I just don't know if the extra 10%-15% gain is worth it. Or I could put that money towards a new 120Hz monitor with g-sync when they start appearing on shelves.

    Well.....I joined the party!

I currently have GTX 670 SLI and have been begging for an upgrade...

After today's reviews I pretty much decided on just saving a few bucks and going with GTX 780 SLI.

Then a funny thing happened. I ordered 2x 780ti's and a new power supply! Should be here from Amazon tomorrow. I'm on EST and usually they come by the house at 6:00p.m. :( The power supply unfortunately says it is only good for Saturday delivery....

I ran a bunch of benchmark's on my setup tonight, hopefully I can maintain focus and throw a decent forum post up to hopefully help out others. My setup doesn't lend itself to finding many comparable setups. Hopefully posting my thoughts will help others that are on the fence about upgrading.

I'm in the camp of running Nvidia Surround + 3D. If I can I prefer to game at 6000x1080P (bezel corrected) with 3D on!!!!

Needless to say, I found that not many games are playable at this resolution with 3D on. When it comes to gaming I prefer to do 6000x1080 w/ 3D > 6000x1080 or 1920x1080 w/ 3D > 1920x1080@144hz gaming. SP games such as Crysis 3 are 1920x1080p+3D, but games such as Tomb Raider and Batman Arkham City I run at 6000x1080p+3D. I'm hoping the 780ti's get me close to where I want to be. Wish they had 6GB+ memory, but I'll take the 3GB over the 2GB I have for now!

My plan is to go for dual 780ti's to replace my single Titan but fear the PCB layout is different which means my EK waterblock may not fit.
Its not a big deal though

I lost a lot of cash going from 3x GTX 580 to 3x GTX 670 and lost even more going from 3x GTX 670 to 3x GTX 780... going after 3x GTX 780Ti's would make me single again ! :bathit:

The steep price cuts on the regular 780 and the re-sale value of 780's on the 2nd hand/used card market doesn't really make the "upgrading" attractive even though I really want 780Ti's !:wanker: if I'm lucky selling two 780 would just cover the cost for one brand new 780Ti... that's a looong way up to 3x 780Ti's.

If GTX 780Ti Black Edition 6GB cards arrive - then I'm might say screw it and sell all the 780's and get two Black Ed's for SLI (and wish for money for christmas !):arnie:

I had 10 days left on my step-up for 1 of my 780's through evga. Got in the que to step up to the 780 TI yesterday. Currently #5 in line. Ordered a 780 TI from amazon yesterday. It's supposed to be delivered either today or tomorrow. Also ordered a EVGA 1300Watt SuperNova Power Supply to feed these babies.

New 780 TI's are using the reference coolers. Kinda glad to be honest. Need that heat out of my case. My current 780 ACX's just swim in the heat, especially my top card. Reaches 92C in BF4 (overclocked to 1.2ghz though)
