Unable to convert. What would happen if I deleted it or wipe it? And then re-run windows boot repair from the disk? Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
Providing you can. Personally I would just move the files off that you need and delete all the drives and start a fresh with a clean Windows install. Maybe partition another drive to move stuff over to that you need.
Scorch666, recovery partition is the partition where recovery environment files are placed. You can add a drive letter to first parition labeled "Recovery" and look what it contains. Partition labeled as "reserved" usually is empty. In case your bug relates to the size of recovery partition, the way to enlarge it is follow (in Partition Master): - move 16MB partition to the end of unallocated space so it lays right before main partition; - move 100MB partition to the end of unallocated space so it lays right before 16MB one; - resize first 450.97MB partition to the end of unallocated space. You can check in BCD whether any partition is marked as recovery one. PS And Ghosty is right - most correct way would be backup all needed data, then boot from OS installer, then delete all partitions and let OS installer to do the rest.
May be you updated to Win10 from previous version (Win7, Win8) where the layout of system/reserved partitions is different?
You could create another partition and move all the stuff you need. Then wipe and format the remaining partitions and reinstall Windows.
You have 479GB unused at "C:". You can shrink it by that amount, create new 479GB backup partition, copy files there, delete all other partitions, install OS, copy files back to "C:", delete backup partition, extend "C:" by 479GB.
No not yet. Still need to work out how much I need to back up. Hopefully i'll have enough room on a partition i'd make.
