i just hope they dont suffer form the same low fps bug like 275.15 (or 257.29) in some games; like in - cod5, tf2, l4d2 in all 3 much lower lowest fps > when in extreme fight.

does this driver have the same problem as the 257.15 has. the trilinear optimization is turned ON in the profiles section and there is no OFF selection from the drop down menu. even though i selected HIGH QUALITY. it should be turned OFF but it isnt.i can not turn it OFF. which is fishy, NVIDIA applying one of its cheats again..

Quick testing reveals these about same as .29 betas an worst at vantage than .15's are.

if you select high quality in main profile it should be disabled by default, it always worked here; also with 257.15 and 257.29..

edit: profiles saved fine here (with both 275.15/29), but i needed ENG instead of int version.

when you select HIGH QUALITY in global profile, the trilinear optimize tab disappers so there is no telling whether its turned OFF or ON. thats the problem. in the old drivers its shows that its turned OFF.

HOW CAN I CHECK IF ITS TURNED OFF FOR REAL for alll games included when you select HIGH QUALITY in the main profile?

it just is, i can guarantee you; they've removed it from nvcpl once you select h.quality (in older drivers it was grayed out, i guess they wanted it to be less confusing, so you dont go why is this greyed out?? lol):nerd:

I am not so sure about this. In .29 drivers, when you select high quality in any game profile, trilinear optimisation says 'ON' - and cant be changed.
I will check it with these whql drivers, and report back soon.

tested them in various games and benchmarks, no performance increase or decrease but i'm noticing less lag in Assassin's Creed 2.

temps are exactly the same for me, 40 to 45 idle, 90c max under load (furmark).

one thing i did notice is improved image quality in Alien vs Predator the aliens look better and rounder, perhaps some improvement to how Tessellation is handled by the Gtx 465/470/480? since we do know the aliens are highly tessellated,

i remember the aliens looking less detailed than this in the timedemo and the game, that tail looks quite realistic now. or maybe i'm blind?

gonna test Metro2033 in dx11 mode and see if theres any improvements there too.

well that's it so far, great set for me. :p

    thats exactly the problem

i want to trun OFF triliner optimize for each game profile not just the main profile. as each profile has its own settings and executed only when the game exe is run. so setting HQ for the main profile wont make a difference for the trilinear optimize in the game profiles if i can not have it turned OFF when i select HQ in the game profiles. when the game exe runs it will execute its profile and it will have the trilinear optimize ON cuz it will overriden the main profile settings (it wont use the main profile setting for the game). so, how to turn it off in the games profile?
