Can i add an external graphics card to my notebook? I'd like to be able to place aces high 3 on it... which requires a 9800GTX+ or better
Probably not but you would need to tell us exactly what type and model of notebook you have. Notebooks you can do this on are very expensive, £700+ at least, already gaming laptops and mostly brand new, you would likely know if it was one of them
Nope. I doubt your laptop has a Thunderbolt interface, which is how you connect external graphics cards.
As above, also, sorry but no, any laptop capable of having an external gpu would not have an atom processor.
i wouldnt bother playing games on an atom personally.. or the financial output of getting an external gpu for it.
Yes, If the notebook has a mPCI-e connector you can buy a external graphics card connector. But since is a Atom almost any decent graphic card will bottleneck the CPU
Atom cpu's are for ultra books and light travel. I know, i got one myself a asus zenbook. The price on those external gpu's are not worth it either. Buy a mid range gaming laptop if you need one. (the new ones with 1060's are reasonable priced). The best money/value is always have a cheap laptop for none gaming on the go and a gaming pc at home.
