Sadly they'll probably price it 20-25% higher than the 290X and list performance, power consumption, temperature and noise being 10% less than the 290X as the kicker for that price. :(

Rumor is 780 Ti will be priced $649, same as current 780 GTX. Then the 780 GTX will receive price cut.

So, with the GTX780ti release the Titan is history.

    There was no point anyway.

Every single card released has been replaced with something faster and cheaper. Why would the titan be any different?

Well for an "Titan" (1000$) GPU it was kinda short lifetime, don't you think?

The titan was way over priced, and you paid who knows how much for that extra 3GB of ram that did almost nothing in 90% of scenarios.

I dont think that Titan was meant to be just a gaming card I believe it was meant also to be a cheap workstation card for begginers.

that rumor is BS. If you look in the 780 Classified thread over at EVGA, an EVGA rep had confirmed shortly after the release of the Classified that there would be zero chance of Nvidia making a 780 with more than 3 GB of VRAM because of Titan.

:3eyes: Really think card targeted for 4K with 290X packing 4GB that card with 3GB will be enough? when newer games have been hitting 4GB+ @ 4K res

NV have to give users reason to pick 780 Ti over 290X :) speed alone might not be enough. Jump on memory capacity might just tilt the scales.
