^they like to do just that, release a beast of cameraphone like the N8 and the rest of phones wearing a cheap webcam even lacking autofocus, i bet the lumia 820 takes the worst 8MP pics this year, sigh*
I don't see what's so exciting about any Nokia device. I'm looking at the HTC Windows Phone 8S myself. My only issue with HTC is the cheap, POS speakers they use. I've now had 2 HTC Trophies blow out the speaker on the back....which is used for speakerphone, ringer, etc.... The Lumia, just looks too much like a toy to me. The pictures make the phone look very cheap.
Going to see if I can get an early upgrade Friday seeing my official upgrades end of the year looks like its going to cost me £49 on a contract so I'm happy with that when the cheapest tariff its on is a bit cheaper than my current one and better unlimited calls 24/7 my current one is £300 calls peak time unlimited calls from 7PM to 7AM all weekends and bank holidays.
Nokia 920 will be released at 22.11.2012 (22th November). http://press.nokia.fi/2012/10/30/nokia-lumia-920-tulee-kauppoihin-suomessa-marraskuun-22-paivana/
In Finland, others get it earlier. Actual price here in Finland for unlocked phone will be 599 € including 23% VAT.
I've yet to see anyone with a Windows phone, they are out of Android & ios's league... I don't see them selling many, we will see when the device is released. I wish Nokia the best.
Okay, I bought mine for 480 €. Two year contract but it's irrelevant since my subscription is not going to change at all. Now I'll just have to wait a bit, 22.11. is soooo far away!
dang.. i'm so excited for this phone, can't wait 'til it gets released here in the philippines. i hope it does include the wireless charger. EDIT: or maybe it doesn't! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBgVF57ZX2M&feature=related @5:48
About two weeks to go before I get mine... Also, coming to AT&T this Friday, $99.99 with a two-year agreement with free black wireless charging plate.
Rogers is set to release the device on November 12th for $99 on a 3-year contract or $549.99 outright for the 16 GB model. ($49 on a 3-year contract or $499 outright for the 8 GB model). Personally, I'm not a huge fan of its bulk, I like the HTC Windows Phone 8X instead, but Nokia wins hands down in terms of camera. deltatux
