So far I've only bought a handfull. Lately I've been wanting to pick up more, but sometimes put off when the only color is black...For me, I really have to love the band for me to buy a shirt. So that's why I've picked up so few throughout the years. I guess this could be a show and tell thread. Speaking of black shirts, this is the last one I bought. I know someone here has a Pink Floyd, Misfits, and probably a Metallica shirt.
I have dozens of them. I go to a lot of metal concerts, most of them underground, some big ones, and always buy one shirt. They, uhm, are all...black.:stewpid:
I always ask for them as bday/xmas gifts. ill try remember in chronological order of when i got them, soad, iron maiden, pixies, joy division, run dmc, the cure, interpol and clash is next on list :wanker:
I have probably every Metallica and Pantera shirt ever made. I tend to wear them on the weekends since I don't get to wear them during the week at work.
Practically my entire wardrobe. Every time I go to a gig I try and get a shirt, price permitting. £20 max.
Yes, loads. But I avoid shirts with overly large artwork and/or huge logos (metal bands, I'm looking at you...). My favourite band shirt is probably my GY!BE one:
2 of them actually... Most of my band shirts are ragged now though. I have Pixies, Nirvana, and Type O Negative shirts that look like Swiss cheese, a They Might Be Giants shirt with holes in the armpits and side, and a Modest Mouse shirt that has only survived this long because it shrunk in the wash.
And here come the debbie downers! No, I don't wear t-shirts with words on them anymore unless it's NHL related or possibly related to my college.
I like them from a visual standpoint, but wouldn't wear them. A friend of mine frames them and hangs them on the wall, looks pretty cool in his music/chill out room.
Yes, 1. Epica Design Your Universe Tour 2. Epica Requiem For The Indifferent Tour 3. Metallica Ride The Lighting 4. Arch Enemy Chaos Legion Tour 5. Devil Driver Beast Tour 6. Weird Al Yankovic Running with Scissors tour 7. Metallica Master of Puppets Not much of fan anymore, but have their stuff: 1. Nightwish The Poet and The Pendulum Tour 2. Nightwish Imaginaerium ...and I think that is all, if I missed any I can't remember.
I used to have loads but I got rid of some a while ago, now I have: Sonata Arctica - Limited Edition Wolf shirt for pre ordering Days of Grays Sonata Arctica - Stones Grow Her Name 2013 UK Tour shirt Manowar - Battle Hymns MMXI First Tour Shirt Manowar - Louder Than Hell Shirt Iced Earth - World Dystopia 2011/2012 Shirt Sabaton - UK 2012 Tour Shirt Iron Maiden - Killers Shirt Used to have Cannibal Corpse, Metallica, Exhumed and a load of others. Also, nice Wolves In The Throne Room tee
This one is actually quite cool, but then WitTR has always had tasty artwork. I'm gonna order some shirts from Enemies List Home Recordings soon, I think. Their "No fun. Not ever" tee is too funny to pass on.
Some 10 years back i had a black Iron Maiden T-shirt with the ghost face showing the middle finger but i lost it or rather my friends took it or someone stole it, don't remember. Every girl used to look at me, hehe. That was my fav T-Shirt. I am trying to get another one since a long time but in vain.
I have maybe... 4 or so? The ones I can remember are : majority rule catharsis atom and his package pink floyd -scheherazade
