I've been getting this for ages when playing gpu intensive games like titanfall beta, the bluescreen is accompanied by a loud annoying noise. I need help ASAP, running a 7850 on 14.1 drivers with a clean reinstall of drivers.

    GPU overclocked ?

Did you clean install the drivers using DDU to remove the old ones first ?

I'm getting the same problem, but I only get the bsod while watching youtube videos... I have no problems gaming (titanfall included).
    I'm getting SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED(atikmdag.sys).

I clean installed the drivers using DDU, and I am overclocking but I haven't had any issues until these 14.1 drivers... I ran the 13.30 beta just fine.

I rolled my catalyst drivers back to 13.30, Mantle was great but the general driver was a bit finicky. I will wait for the next release... I'm expecting a new one to come out just prior to Thief getting released at the end of the month.

try disabling hardware acceleration in your brower and in flash.
i had a bsod while watching youtube after updating to 13.12 and none since i disabled it.

    this
also disabling ULPS and locking the gpu clocks to full speed would't hurt either
powerplay is a epic pile of garbage even on the newest AMD cards it is the number one source of instability/glitches on AMD cards

I didn't use DDU, but instead manually did it (going into regedit getting rid of all amd files/hidden files and folders and all the visible folders). GPU isn't overclocked as far as I know (AMD overdrive is disabled)

Hmm, just to be sure maybe try it with DDU and report back?

Use DDU, it does all that manual labour for you, and could possibly know about files and entries you missed

Yeah, I'm quite certain that would fix it (I run Youtube in html5 mode but point still stands).
I was just saying that I had the problem as well, having the problem fixed in the driver is a far better solution than disabling hw acceleration.

    I think this fix work!

Hi all i think that i fixed this problem by removing html5 forever in chrome.
I got the R9 290 Tri-X, Crashed lots of Bsod on my new pc rig
This was probably caused by the following module:
    atikmdag.sys (atikmdag+0x277CE)
    Bugcheck code: 0xA0000001 (0x5, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0)
here is a link how to do Delete html5 in chrome.
HERE it is- /watch?v=mwmvhzLh9jw a link to youtube

i noticed it when chrome auto updates and starting to use html5 again i get a BSOD after 1 hour surfing on youtube.
So i deleted it again still no Bsod yet
    Hope this helps!
