not sure if this is a problem but in my device manager under display devices i am seeing nvidia geforce 8800gt nvidia geforce 9800 gtx/9800 gtx+ this is telling me i have pcie 1 8800 then in pcie 2 i have 9800 x2 what is going on please help james marsden:stewpid:
I believe SLI is VERY picky about which 2 cards you use together, as in, they need to have the same manufacturer in some cases, could be seeing that.
both cards are 9800 gtx+ bfg well one is a 9800 gtx bfg only difference is the + lol i just cant understand where the 8800 gt has come from
Is SLI reported correctly in NVIDIA Control Panel? Wouldn't pay too much attention to Device Manager if it is.
GTX+ should be in the primary PCI-E port or it will not work as far as I know. According to EVGA those two should work in SLI. What motherboard you have exactly?
hi my mobo is a asus m2n-sli I have switched cards around and now the one that is in pcie 1 always seems to be 8800gt even though both cards have same chip etc . and are both 9800gtx+ bfg oc / well one is a 9800gtx bfg oc only difference is the + :bang::bang:
SCORE:1023 points (17 FPS, 60000 ms) as u can tell im newish to this does this look like they are both working lol
