    Hi,

I'm having quite some trouble with my computer.
The first being that I can't seem to find a newer GFX driver than 8.812.0.0.
The only driver i can find on AMD's website is a reference driver, and that doesn't work good at all.

The second is that at random when i play games (BF3, Assassins Creed, WoW, SWTOR etc.) the system sometimes gives me a Blue Screen.
When i get that blue screen it points to one of two things. Some dx file or a ati file. I'm sorry i cannot remember their names but if i get a Blue Screen again soon ill write them down.

I've checked my DirectX version and its up to date. So what i'm thinking is that it's a driver problem and that a need a newer more stable version of the AMD Mobility driver.

What do you guys think and what should I do? I am downloading that beta Catalyst thing but I'm not shure it works with my GFX.

edit: I'm testing the Beta catalyst atm, no BSoD yet

    Download: Blue Screen View
    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

Next time you get an error or bluescreen and it does a memory dump you can view the error.

Sometimes it'll tell you if its the display drivers that are causing the problems.

I'm assuming you have a laptop, do you happen to know the model number?

Tight setup man, similar to mine.

So go through my advice and you should have no problems:

Quoted from an earlier post in another help thread.
BTW: Step 7 is not optional for you. You may also be forced to install any new driver package OVER the manufacturer-one.
Try the new 8.95 Jan17 from marthand, they work awesome in BF3 for me and many other Mobile GPU users. You don't need to install CAP's with that one too, since the latest one is included.

Actually its not a laptop, Its a Imac 27" mid 2011.

After I installed the beta drivers like you stated above I havn't gotten a single error but I will have Blue Screen View running just in case.
