Hmmm, need to check on that as I've not had crashes with the game so far even after creating my own wrestler and editing him a few times.

What do I need to do to replicate your issue?

Just did a normal (none clean) install and Physx reappeared in GPU-Z.

I'm guessing that nvidia has a lot more recources to have a very large number of environments available to reproduce bugs.

Sure, but the complexity of code and environment in case of NVidia is much bigger.

Will try these soon, maybe finally a worthy update from 376.09.

It seems to go like this now:
    WHQL - create a bug
    Hotfix - fix the bug
    ...

They look ok atm, smooth latency.

Ok I've played only MKX and Doom, and quick MetroLL physx benchmark to see if its really fixed.

    EDIT:

Although there is a flare/glare glitch in Doom, apparently for a long time, is this a engine or driver bug?

Probably. But with billions of possible permutations of hardware, software and firmware, tying to isolate an issue that is reported by only a tiny fraction of users can be difficult and a fix might cause a regression issues with other users. So, it ain't that simple as just throwing more people at it. This very forum is illustrative of that. 99% percent of the issues, I don't have and probably just about everyone else too.

Not sure. I just create several wrestlers in create a superstar mode, save it, go to edit again, and almost every second time I enter create a superstar mode while the little loading circle is spinning at the lower right the game crashes with this DISPLAY_DEVICE_REMOVED error. It only happens on my three PCs with Nvidia video cards and not on my laptop with AMD video cards.
Looking at the 2k and Steam forums for the game, several other Nvidia users seem to be having the same problem.
I'm playing with 4xFSAA at 3840x2160 and all game details maxed except motion blur and depth of field turned off as I don't like the look of those effects. On the other PCs I'm running at 1920x1080 and the rest on the same settings.
What are your settings? Did you apply any special tweaks via Nvidia Inspector or the likes that I could try that might stabilize the game?

Man, what the heck is going on with NVIDIA?

WHQL followed by a Hotfix a couple of days later... for the past 3-4 months.

I should just stop installing WHQL drivers and just wait for the hotfix :p

3dmark api overhead dx12 is ok too, so far the highest 21mill, usually ~20, older driver 16-19mill

    http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/18049833?

dx11 api is somewhat in between with 2.3mill, ST is a little better, but still around average.
    max MT ~ 2.38-2.42..
    max ST ~2.54mill with 353.09 driver @ 780gtx

coincidence or not, 378.49 killed my gtx780lighting
and there are also several post in geforce forum that having same issue like me
    https://forums.geforce.com/default/...s-my-gtx-780-actually-died-or-what-plz-help-/
    https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/5t4j2m/nvidias_new_37849_driver_killed_two_of_my_7/

so for me, i am not going to touch 378 branch

but again if i think, i wont update driver if not necesarry or having issue with something (4-5times driver updates a year might be enough)
especially not with rapid release like now
plus WindowsUpdate forcing nvidia driver (376.53/54)

Yes. It has been only 980Ti for the drivers in the 378.xx set.

Don't take this wrong, but do you actually ever play games? I ask this because, I was used to do this...until finally I realized there's always going to be graphical glitches in games. If they are minor and infrequent, I just ignore them. Fallout 3 was my epiphany...z-fighting.
