Hi iam on laptop wish windwos 10.

Is there an option to set password after close the lid, no option to set PW after DISPLAY OFF? i set Closing Lid= Do nothing.

but when i open the lid, the screen turns on and asks no password which i want it to ask a PW or you know. LOGINSCREEN of the W10.

Edit: To make it clear, when my LID is closed, my laptop is not in SLEEP mode. it is still active.

edit 2: it looks like only way is WIN key + L

    or This little REG edit.

Such app - either GUI or system service - can be written. I came across examples of code.

    Update:
There might be even easier way. Task scheduler offers triggers on any event (in any event log). So if closing the lid or turning display OFF are accompanied by events in any event log, you can schedule following command
    Code:
    rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
    Update:
Or I can build this app
