My GTX470 gave up the ghost and it has been replaced (under warranty luckily) with a GTX660 2GB. The 470 ran the PC (used only for MS Flight Simulator) just fine, so I guess the 660 they offer as a free replacement will do better? In any case, MSFS is very CPU dependent, so the GPU is less critical...

Can anyone who uses the 660 recommend a good driver for it which does NOT reset my nVidia Control Panel colour settings to default after every reboot? Took me ages to find a good driver for the 470 and am not relishing starting a new hunt. I run Windows 7 64-bit, 2 monitor setup ...

    Thanks,

    Martin

Try the latest and see if for you they are indeed the greatest. They usually are.
Never encountered the NVCP going default after every reboot either, even on older cards.

PC is now repaired - get it back tomorrow and will try with 320.00 ASAP.

Problem with nvcp being reset at reboot is apparently a common problem..
