All ATI drivers cause Windows 7 to fail to boot

    May be its that damn PCI drivers screwing the OP's hapiness, the very same one someone mentioned a few posts back to make it install by force?

    System wasn't booting when I had it updated. So I uninstalled that PCI drivers and installed the older "AMD PCI Express (3GIO) Filter" and my systems working fine.

    so **** AMD drivers..

    This proceedure does not work for some people with exotic hardware/setups.

    Sometimes the regular CIM works for me, sometimes it does not.
