So since I've just recently dropped my Nexus 6, which didn't survive the drop. My insurance said they can't get any other Nexus/Pixel phones, they will pay out £609 to replace my old one. But no idea what to get, kinda want to get the Oneplus 3T or the Pixel. Needs to be Android, and get updates (so long Samsung) and be able to be rooted. Any ideas? Thanks.
Oneplus 3T or if you can drag it out a short while the OnePlus 5 will be out. Pixel is nice but if you cant get it the Oneplus still get good updates and are really nice phones.
Google Pixel or Moto Z series. Motorola has been very great with their support on their devices. The X series is also making a comeback as well.
If I were you, I'd get the OP 3T or OP 5. Sure the pixel will probably get 2 more updates but that's not really that astounding in comparison to other phones, especially since it's getting to be nearly a year old now. The OP phones basically because the new nexus phones on XDA if you're looking to root/rom.
