Wrong! It also has SSD caching as well as Virtu graphics switching. And it also has onboard HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports.

Nice to see your still Z68 biased and still spreading crap about the chipset...

    Wrong!

It is the same silicon but with graphics support enabled.

SSD caching is a software solution, its not built into chipset.

Virtu graphics switching support is vendor/model specific, it isnt part of the chipset.

Nice to see you're still Z68 biased and still spreading crap about the chipset...
    lol

    Wrong again!!

If it was just software why it is a BIOS enabled option? Sounds like hardware to me now dosen't it? And again Virtu is BIOS enabled...where you get your information from anyways? Oh wait, you don't have a Z68 so how would you have any clue what is in the BIOS?

    Stop spreading FUD kid...
    nuff said!

Man, its like trying to debate with a child.

Have you seen the BIOS options for the onboard sound, or maybe the second network card, perhaps the USB 3.0 controller?
None of those are included in the Z68 chipset yet you can configure them in the BIOS.

Its not a hardware feature :)

    This is your exact rubbish:

"No, thats what LGA 2011 is about, most P67 boards are x8 x8.
As I said before, Z68 is the same silicon as P67, just better binned.
It has no extra features other than iGPU support."

Notice the part at the very end where you claim no new features other then IGPU support?

Let me remind you "It has no extra features other than iGPU support"

Now stop playing with split hairs and stop down playing Z68 because it came out right after you bought the now outdated P67...

It doesn’t matter if it was added after or before. It is added and therefore extra which kills your statement!

Enough of side-stepping the main issue. You keep spreading the false information that there is nothing different or extra feature wise from P67, but obviously, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see this, there is differences and extra features. Now it doesn’t matter how you spin this, you're 100% spreading bogus false information on this tech forum!

    You struggle with diagrams too.

    Z68 is in the middle.
The whole diagram is the Chipset 'Platform' Block diagram, not the chipset block diagram.
Z68 includes support only for those blocks directly connected to it.

If you wish to join in a conversation, at least stay on the topic.
The topic was the Z68 chipset, not the motherboards.

It seems a lot of people are having issue with this driver. Reverting to 270.61 seems to work for some. Crysis 2 weapon bug is supposed to be solved with the new 280. driver coming mid july. :bang:
