Will ANY AMD card &/or Driver Update EVER support the 3D you get on ASUS monitors such as the VG278H (NVidia 3d) or not?

I have two identical AMD cards in crossfire in an i7 4770 Z87 setup, and I cant get 3D on it.

But my PS3 works great in 3D on the monitor.... So gooooooood.

And AMD are making the graphics chipsets for the PS4 (which supports 3D) and X-One?

    It`s CONFUSING.

Should I abandon AMD after 10 years, or hang in there?

    Will this new driver help?
    Am trying it anyway.

Not all games supports 3D, the best native AMD HD3D games I experienced was Sniper Elite V2 and Crysis 3. You can use TriDef (50% off for AMD owners) for non-native HD3D games. You can try it out for 30 days Use this link

Your 7 series cards should support HD3D I could get HD3D to work since my old 5870s.

VG278H is 120Hz screen with nVidia vision glasses. You either need that or other shutter glasses for separation of visual information for each eye.
Benq has their special for projectors which may work with LCD's too. I so not know any asus ones.

In theory any will do as long as you are able to make them switch with right timing.

same here... we seem to be in the minority, though? My results in other games are fantastic, but BF4 continues to take a nasty dump on my FPS! :( :bang:

I did have that problem last week.....
    BUT
I just installed the latest graphics drivers (Beta) and my HD7770`s work great in CrossFire in BF4.

Its beautifully smooth and detailed now (on my 120MHz Asus 27-inch HD monitor [3D] and I know I need an NVidia card for that but I get PS3 in 3D so.... for now....I manage).

all drivers 13.9/13.10b1/13.10b2/13.11b1 screen turns black during display driver in stall and stays black resulting in a having to hard reset, then pc will not boot in to windows and i have to do a system restore. think its about time this got sorted other people i have spoke to are having this issue, but if i reinstall 13.4 driver i have no problem.

I'm still waiting for my SDD to arrive today, after that i'm going to try this driver.
Heard some good things with this and Windows 8.1 for BF4.

OK, I've tried it with Vsync ON and OFF, Borderless, Windowed, Fullscreen, MSAA 4X, MSAA OFF, 1080p @ 59 hz, and at 1080p @ 144 hz. No matter what I do, the FPS are horrible...

EDIT: results removed for more testing... clocks were set wrong. DOH! lol

Crossfire doesn't support windowed mode on any game. Restore factory defaults in CCC.

You have to be in full screen for the 2nd gpu to kick in LMFAO
and as for your performance your cards are not running in full speed 3d.

500/700, clearly driver issue, clean the drivers and reinstall.

lol, woops! I just noticed the clocks in that screenshot... they must have reset somehow. I have now changed the GPU overclock settings back to 1150/1550.

In FULLSCREEN mode, my second card is actually being utilized (roughly 50%), but it's not having any impact on FPS! My FRAPS benchmark results are almost identical between single-card and Xfire tests. :bang:

And again, I know Xfire is working because my FPS in BF3 are averaging over 120 FPS on most maps...

Yeah your right, im getting the exact same frames in windowed mode as i am in fullscreen with this driver, though granted i the performance is excellent even with 1 card only, but with full screen crossfire 50-60%gpu usage is showing with no impact on performance as it should be, something fubar with these drivers....

this image is with the game maxed out ultra everything.

EDIT: update; ok i just noticed in that screen shot even in window mode my single card is not even getting any performance from the GPU 50-60% not sure what is going on here, dont know if its the driver or the update that was just released today for the game.
