VR-Zone mentions that AMD is baking a new dual-GPU graphics card. The AMD Radeon R9 290 X2 it could be called would be based on two R9 290X GPUs slapped on one PCB. Do the math en realize that's a n...

    Hope this thing doesn't erupt.....

  4. It's going to produce some ridiculous heat.

Hopefully it comes with a liquid cooler or something.

this will be awesome but its going to need a liquid cooler or some sort of vapor chamber sort of thing. probably going to limited to 375w unless they add an extra power connecter.

It's amazing how many more NVidia users complain about AMD drivers.....than AMD users...

Noooo... When you power on the system, the people in Pompeii (well, Naples now) will run in fear...

Are they sure that this isn't part of the thermi series as well? I'm betting it'll have a pretty hefty underclock at least for the reference cooler.

Don't be naive! The improvement is there and they are catching up faster than than ever before, next year drivers won't matter any more because they will be more or less equal.

All of attention is on G-Sync and Mantle this will determine next year's trend and the leading positions, both are great I want both but that's just wishful thinking.

Dear lord. Massive underclock is the only feasible way I see this happening.
