IMGN.PRO and Telepaths Tree announced today that their Unreal Engine 4-powered FPS horror title, Inner Chains, will be released on April 20th.
In order to celebrate this announcement, IMGN.PRO has released a cinematic trailer for it that can be viewed below.

Ashes of the Singularity New patch improves CPU performance over 30%

After the release of the Ryzen 7 CPUs, Stardock has been working closely with AMD in order to improve Ashes of the Singularity’s overall performance. As a result of that collaboration, Stardock released a new patch for it that improves CPU performance over 30%.

Now before continuing, know that both Intel’s and AMD’s CPUs will see benefits from this latest update for Ashes of the Singularity.

As Stardock’s Brad Wardell claimed, Nitrous is an engine that scales up and gets more powerful as you throw more CPU cores at it. As such, and given the fact that eight-core CPUs are now more mainstream thanks to the Ryzen CPUs, Stardock has implemented a number of CPU optimizations that make the game run better on AMD Ryzen CPU.

Destiny 2: Is there an PC version ?

Activision will release later today the first proper trailer for Destiny 2, however it appears that a Spanish retailer has revealed the first details for this new Destiny game. And yes, the game appears to be coming to the PC too.

Destiny 2 will be a first-person action shooter that places players in an epic adventure through the Solar System.

“The last city on Earth has fallen before an overwhelming invasive force under Ghaul, the towering commander of the Red Legion. Guardians are running out of power, and the few survivors have left. You will venture in mysterious, uncharted worlds from the Solar System to discover devastating weapons and combat abilities. In order to defeat the Red Legion and face Ghaul, you will need to gather the surviving heroes from the City and fight back together to claim back home.”

Those who pre-order Destiny 2 will also get access to its upcoming beta phase.

 

Cyberpunk 2077 is in full production & in advanced development stage!

During its investor’s conference, CD Projekt RED revealed some new information about its new Cyberpunk game, Cyberpunk 2077. According to the company, Cyberpunk 2077 is in full development mode and there are over 300 people working.

As CD Projekt RED noted, this represents 3/4 of the total workforce it wants on this project. And while it already has all core staff for the project, the team is looking to hire plenty of testers.

Unfortunately, and while Cyberpunk 2077 is in advanced development stage, the team won’t share anything about it in 2017. As CD Projekt RED has already claimed, 2017 is the year of GWENT.

But what about a new, proper The Witcher game? When one investor pressed CD Projekt RED’s CEO Michal Kicinski about it, Kicinski had this to say:

“The Witcher was designed as a trilogy. Trilogy cannot have a fourth part, however we like that world very much. We have invested 15 years of our lives and loads of money into it and we will probably think about it at some point. But please consider us as rational people, we sometimes have weird ideas, but overall our thinking is very rational. We have full rights to The Witcher games. They are ours. We have invested enormous funds into promoting it, and it’s a very strong brand. Answer your own question ”

Kicinski concluded that CD Projekt RED has to be very careful with its words, because everything said during that conference is also heard by the gamers.

“Obviously plenty of you are gamers as well, but what we tell gamers is part of the marketing campaign, so we can’t discuss certain things even though we know them already. We cannot reveal our full hand.”

So yeah, our guess is that there will be a new The Witcher game in the near future

Bethesda has released another new trailer for PREY that showcases some of the game’s weapons, tools, and powers. In PREY, players take the role of Morgan Yu.
Along with a wide range of abilities (both human and alien), Morgan Yu has a full arsenal of killer gear. From his simple wrench to a powerful shotgun to more exotic devices, Morgan has more than enough options to suit his needs.

Quake: Champions

Bethesda has released a new trailer for Quake Champions, featuring 2 minutes of raw gameplay. As we can see, Quake Champions is as fast and as crazy as Quake 3 Arena, something that will definitely please its fans.
The closed beta phase for Quake Champions begins this month, and the game will be released this year.

BioWare Austin is reportedly prototyping a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game, KotoR 3?

BioWare Austin, the studio behind the currently running MMO The Old Republic, is apparently working on a prototype of some sort for a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game.

The information comes from Liam Robertson, a journalist with a proven track record whom you may recognise by the pseudonym Unseen64.

During a recent podcast (available through his Patreon page), Robertson said that BioWare’s Austin studio is now “exclusively” working on Star Wars games.

Among these projects is a remake, or possibly re-imagining, of the classic Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic RPG. “I don’t know when this is set to come out, but it has been in development for a little while now,” he said, as transcribed by SW Game Outpost.

“I’ve heard that it isn’t exactly a remake anymore, but it started as a remake/revival. Now it’s kind of going from that blueprint in sort of its own original thing. I guess we’ll see what that turns out to be, but they are prototyping it right now,” he revealed.

Robertson did not quote any inside sources, but he did mention that the game would incorporate the new Star Wars canon.

The original Knights of the Old Republic featured original writing and characters, and was later lumped together with the rest of the Star Wars extended universe after Disney took over. These stories are now known as Star Wars Legends.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was released in 2003, and is considered by many to be among BioWare’s best work, and a true classic. It received a sequel in 2004, The Sith Lord, though that was developed by Obsidian.
