I don't agree ! At first i didn't like the new UI but now after i got used to it and after i found out all the little things i like it.
I still don't see a reason to upgrade to Windows 8 or Blue so far. Won't hurt anything to try out the preview, though.
I remember a while back I saw someone post a pattern of Windows. Every other release is good, so if Win8 was not that accepted, this one will be. Still not getting it.
Windows 8 makes me tempted to try out some linux distros for normal use for a week. I think we might only have another ~7 years of windows 7 being viable for normal use. Maybe less for high end gaming . This? I hope it's true.
Yeah, basically they sell a social experiment at first. Then after all the feedback, they make changes. They have to fail to improve.
Too many releases means I have to buy more OS(es) that I don't want. That alone displeases me... *I need them in order to learn them inside out so that I can fix the PCs that people bring me. *insert unhappy face here: :backfire:

Well i wasn't expecting it to change windows 8 in way on the ui department so don't understand the whine really. I'll buy this blue thing that will add something on top of this w8. Still no sign of windows 9 whenever that might come (2014 i guess), i didn't really understand why people thought w8 was even focused on work computers cause that was never the case just for home use. W9 should be then again focusing both
Microsoft did attempt to tempt or force desktop gaming users on to W8, by claiming that W8 will be the only version to support Directx 11.1.
