European gamers will have to pay substantially more than their British counterparts when it comes to pre-ordering the eagerly awaited release of Rockstar's*Grand Theft Auto 5 ... GTA V: UK Gamers paying 30% less for pre-orders than European counterparts
lol that's almost as bad as the Aussie Price Gouging... Except there's no excuse for a different language version here...
UK 34.99 (20% V.A.T.) for Xbox or PS3 Australia $109.95 (10% GST) or £64.79. That's the price from EBGames.com.au That's a whopping 85% more than the UK pricing... Admittedly that's not the whole story as JB Hi-Fi are selling copies for $89 or £52.45 which is still 50% more than UK. Big W however did have a more respectable $78 (£45.97)for the game making it only 31% more than the UK. They do state it's a limited time offer though. This isn't even bringing into the debate that the cost of living in the UK is about half that of Australia either, making the current price gouging twice as bad...
0's and 1's are more expensive in Australia... True Story.. US to Australian Dollar is very close... Australian prices should be close to the US... but are not... because of reasons. I don't know what those reasons are though.. -___-
Some first world country pays way less for a videogame and no one bats an eye, say that you're going to sell your game for less in 3rd world countries and everyone loses their minds!
dam I feel bad for u kaerar but I know the feeling here in Canada we are gouged too considering the US right beside us with almost at par exchange rates.
