lol no idea , with 337.91 managed 1 extra fps, gpu still @ at stock 1084mhz boost. Maybe they really pimped these 337.88 + a lot, cpu was 4.6ghz and cache 4.2ghz, ram OC 2400mhz CL10-12-12-31-1T
I have tried it out on my rig. As expected, Mantle does far better. I didn't save any files but here are the results I got. Follower scenario-- Extreme-- Mantle 40.8 fps, DX 21.2 fps Medium-- Mantle 59.9 fps, DX 35.4 fps High-------Mantle 43.6 fps, DX not tested Windows 8.1 64 bit, Comodo AV, Firewall, and Behavior Blocker on. 7200 RPM HDD Everything stock, no OC's at all. Waiting for more games to support Mantle. It could extend the usability of GPU's a few more years. (which might not be in AMD's best interests lol)
Very nice, also amusing saying as it's meant to be an AMD / Mantle thing and you're beating Mantle using nVidia / DX lol
yeah I noticed it doesnt like gpu OC, same by my old gpu if I oc'ed too much. lost 10 fps instead of gain extra, maybe I didnt feed it enough voltage xD this was @ max boost 1254mhz, offset freq. 145mhz, idk about extra volts, think only 35mv.. Avg framerate isn't normal because your "crap" CPU AMD hasn't good efficiency at each core. Therefore, you may buy CPU Intel Sandy, Ivy, Haswell or newer CPU to improve much performance.
I thought Mantle was supposed to improve perfomance when using AMD CPU's. It does seem very low though, as even i wasn't far off 40fps average.
They also "optimized" it further, now Mantle should score better, apparently it wasn't running in exclusive fullscreen like Directx did.. Anyway they "optimized" dx this much with latest patch it now cripples everything, I removed it after I saw this even more deliberate bottlenecking.

My: Small Batch Optimized (Mantle): Enabled while your: Small Batch Optimized (Mantle): Disabled - wtf?!? lool But I have started at default settings.
It didn't matter, its for mantle I remember testing both also deferred contexts, but this deferred contexts always crashed if Enabled, mantle small batch didnt matter enabled or disabled, so I left it disabled then. Ok let me try again with it enabledc1:
Ok. But I don't use custom settings nor edit settings despite "Small Batch Optimized (Mantle): enabled". lol
I got the same, its for mantle only..
